    Welcome To Trader-Bobs Ebay Auctions. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a professional ebay seller.     Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers a very nice, 1961, (serial number 43639), Gibson Melody Maker, model "D". Dual pickups, double cutaway. A couple slight modifications, were done before I got it.  Nice set of Grover tuners added, original tuner screw holes, still visible, no coverup. An intonation adjustable, compensating bridge was added, no brand name on it, no modifications to the guitar to add this feature. I have the original tuners, and Gibson bridge, included with this sale. The tuners, I was told, are the originals, but are unmarked. The 22 fret neck, has .0075" neck relief, (bow), see the last picture. Slight wear on the top three fret wires, and little wear on the fret board itself. Both pickups are strong, no hiss in the electronics. Not sure about the pot knobs, two have the function label, and two do not. Maybe the center labels have popped off of the two. The pickup selector switch works fine. There are a few dings, marrs, on the body, nothing touched up. Way above average for the age of this guitar. The faux alligator, chipboard style case is the original. It has a few issues, the hinge material for the interior compartment lid, has come loose. the lip around the lid has 3 tears in it, and the leather center hinge is broken. The sewn seams on the case are all tight. The three flip latches all work. The handle is good.   Look at my feedback, buy with confidence !
