1965 Fender Mustang Sparkle Guitar

we have a 1965 fender mustang sparkle guitar, im sure everyone knows the story of the guitars being sent out to auto shops for sparkle paint. i have seen 3 others just like this but they were blue 1 on olivias guitars, the others on chicago music exchange. but they were all 1966 models, mine is the only 65 or older ive seen.the color matches exactly to the apple red flake on the old fender color chart i think it was #25, true these are hard to prove, but you dont see this type of paint job, it does blacklight old. i bought from the original owners brother, he said he had it his whole life and that was the color he had it painted, but no paperwork. the others i have seen were different colors, but all had the same characteristics as far as the flake itself and way they were painted dark around the edges of guitar ,lighter towards middle and sparkly, in my opinion definetly done by same person or company. techs who have seen it also feel it is real. so thats it,  take a look and do some research. not all were done with the heavy, big sparkle as on most of the old strats ive seen. these are few and far between. good luck.  sorry, the pics dont really show her sparkle, will try to get better ones up.
