Antique Royal Bayreuth Tomato Leaf Lemon Server Dish Porcelain 6.5" Bavaria

Description

This is known as a lemon server dish from Royal Bayreuth.  It is from their 'Tomato' pattern which began production in 1905 and has long since been discontinued.  This dish measures 6.5" in diamseter and stand 1.5" high at the handle.  It has raised leaf veins and blossoms and a random shaping around the edge. It is painted a light green with yellow blossoms.  The paint is worn across the top of raised spots and the top of the handle.  This is common in this type of finish from this maker.  There are no chips or cracks.  A very unusual dish - makes a nice candy or nut dish or trinket dish.
