Brunette Gene Doll in OOAK Paradise Crochet Costume ~ 1904 Jeweled Dinner Gown

Description

This is a brunette Ashton Drake GENE doll (16") that has been redressed in an OOAK Crocheted/Sequins/Beaded Crimson Red Ensemble.  This handmade gown ensemble is from the Paradise Crochet Collector Vol 73 - 1904 Jeweled Dinner Gown (for Barbie) but was revised to fit Gene.  Crochet pattern book pictured but NOT included in auction.
The blouse buttons in the back and skirt snaps in the back and there is a red lining or slip.  There are tiny matching beads and sequins throughout the crochet pattern and more decorative beads on the neckline and bottom of sleeves.  Crocheted hat, shoes, and purse.  Jewelry includes necklace and earrings.
Gown tagged underneath back bottom of skirt "Bell's Beauties Creations by Linda".
Doll comes with original GENE doll stand.
I purchased from another ebayer a few years ago and doll has been displayed in my glass doll cabinet.  Doll and ensemble are in very nice condition.
