    Description

    Doric and Pansy was produced by the Jeannette Glass Company from 1937-1938 in pink, ultramarine, and crystal.  This child's junior dinner set, also called "Pretty Polly Party Dishes", is in mint condition...no scratches, chips, cracks, or damage of any kind.  One of the cups has a "dot", approximately 1/4" in diameter that appears to be oil that dropped into the molten glass when the cup was made.  It is absolutely smooth to the touch.  Please see the last two photos, and the price reflects this flaw.
    These are guaranteed to be original production pieces, they were never reproduced.
    The creamer stands 2 1/2" tall, 3 1/4" in diameter from outside handle to the spout, and 2 1/2" in diameter without the handles.  The sugar stands 2 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" in diameter including the handles, and 2 3/8" in diameter without the handles.
    The cup stands 1 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" in diameter including the handle, and 2 7/8" in diameter without the handle.  The saucer stands 1/2" tall, and is 4 1/2" in diameter.  The dinner plate is 6" in diameter across the top and 2 3/4" in diameter across the bottom.   We have other pieces of Depression Glass listed, so please check our other auctions.  Shipping is free.  Please feel free to ask any questions, we'll be glad to help you in any way we can.
