FENDER JAGUAR 1962 1 owner ORIGINAL

Description

Here we have an uncirculated 1 owner 1962 Fender Jaguar that is 100% original and comes in the original brown case with the owners manual, letter from the owner, and bridge saddle adjustment wrench.
The guitar and amp were purchased new by the owners Father in 1962 from a music store in Saginalw. Michigan.
Very carefully and slowly I took this 61 year old beauty apart to take the pictures so you could see everything you are getting and everything is completely original.  Body, neck, and pot dates are all there for you to see.  Overall the instrument is very clean yet played and broken in just right.  The frets and Brazilian Rosewood fretboard are in great shape with the first 4-5 frets showing light pitting with plenty of fret left.  Wear on the back of the neck is odd but original.  Notice the neck pocket is the last of the laquered pockets before Fenders paint stick method.
She plays and sounds fantastic up and down the fretboard with NO issues.  Superb TONE!
There are several Jaguars out there from this era but none quite like 'this' investment piece.
Guitar weighs 8 lbs. 6 oz.
Original brown tolex case is fully functional with the inside
compartment in need of some glue.
The latches all work but loose.
