    Description

    One of a Kind - Guild/Benedetto - Aristocrat M-75 / Blues Bird 1957 Sunburst.
This Guitar is a one of a kind Old Hybrid Guild & Benedetto Custom Guitar.  This comes with all the old original Guild Parts, in good and working condition.  It is the most versatile guitar one can play & own.
It was used for show work in Vegas, Jazz, Country, Blues, any style it can handle, with out switching to 2 or 3 different guitars.  Its like owning a High End Benedetto Guitar but more versatile with the EMG  Three Pick Up wiring . You can get that Fender Strat  sound by switching the mini toggle switch on.  This guitar is light weight with it’s spruce top and mahogany body.  This guitar was converted over by Master Guitar Maker Bob Benedetto, in 1984 in his Clearwater shop by replacing the old guild neck with his Benedetto neck.  He replaced the old guild bridge with a Gibson Gold Tune-O- Matic’.
Neck: Benedetto ,Fratello model Head Stock shape with custom Abalone  floral inlays and his Cremona  Model Fingerboard, Mother Of Pearl Inlays.  Bone Nut, Ebony Fingerboard.  The fingerboard is dressed with wide jumbo Frets.  Gold Grover Rotomatic Tuners installed.  A  Benedetto White  Mother Of Pearl Truss Rod cover on the head-stock adds a touch of class to the Benedetto head-stock. The instrument comes with the original old neck with the Guild Chesterfield logo inlay in the headstock.
Body : Single Cutaway, Semi – hollow-body, with arch spruce to, and Mahogany body. Back Cavity routed out for 9 volt battery connector and plastic plate cover.
Pickups: Three single coils EMG  with mini toggle switch for series/parallel pickup switching to sound like a Fender Strat. It is wired up now with one volume and one tone and can be change back to Two Volumes and Two Tone Controls.  Comes with all the Original Parts; Gold Tuners with Ivoroid knobs and Two P-90 Cream Soap Bar Covers, the Original old Guild Neck with Chesterfield head-stock Logos.  Black plastic pick guard, wire harness, volume & tone pots.
Case: The Original Guild Hard Shell included with Custom Benedetto Green Case Cover.
Condition: Over all good condition, This guitar has been played and meant to be played. This is a working Man's Guitar.  There are chips, dents, scratches, and lacquer cracks which give a beautiful patina. The gold hardware has tarnishing and the binding has shrunk but can easily be replaced. The instrument has been restrung with D’Addario 10 gauge strings with low action.  Frets show a little ware but still a lot of life left.
