Old brass, ornate shut off valve. The valve has a male thread on one end and a ribbed fitting on the other end. Not sure of the correct term for the slide on end. The valve does open and close. I have no way of knowing if it is 100 percent shut off or if it may seep a little. I am selling it as a collectible and not for actual use. The overall length of the fitting is about 2 3/4 inches long. The inside of the threaded end is about 3/8 inch. The other end is approximately 3/8 inch outside to outside of the small end. It is right at 2 1/4 inches from the top of the oval shut off to the bottom of the fitting. It is being sold as is.
