Old brass, ornate shut off valve. The valve has a solder fitting on one end and a male threaded fitting on the other end. The valve does open and close. I have no way of knowing if it is 100 percent shut off or if it may seep a little. I am selling it as a collectible and not for actual use. The overall length of the fitting is about 2 1/8 inches long. The inside of the threaded end is about 5/8 inch. I am not certain but the outside of the fitting seems to be flattened somewhat, altering the dimension inside. The other end is approximately 5/8 inch inside of the flared end. It is right at 2 7/8 inches from the top of the oval shut off to the bottom of the fitting. It is being sold as is.
